Facebook's only male users saw!

A number of job-related cases have been filed in connection with the publication of the job recruitment notice against 10 organizations including Facebook, alleging gender discrimination. It has been said in the complaint that after posting employment notice to social media, only male users have seen it, women have not reached.

Three women activists and activists of the Communication Workers of America union filed the case. Among them, Linda Bradley, a job-seeker said, "I have heard that when people were looking for jobs, the job notification would have been written in large letters like men or women. I am surprised to see that the discrimination is still done, the difference that was earlier in the newspapers, is now online. It is not just women that would be denied to look for a job.

The complaint further said, "Get the opportunity to notify the age and gender of the employment advertisement on Facebook, employers. The social media is also earning money from the publication of such notification. "Facebook has been facing severe criticism for the job notification platform. Whether there is any discrimination in nationality, age and gender, it is also seen in the loss.

In the recruitment notice gender discrimination is prohibited under US law. Peter Romer Friedman, a lawyer, said, "We did not remove the laws of our civil rights by coming to the Internet. If an employer notifies women by using Facebook, it is against the law. As far as I know, to be a truck driver or a police officer, you do not have to be male. But Facebook and the employers are behaving like it was in the 1950's. '

A Facebook spokesman, E-mail, said: "Facebook has no place for discrimination. It is banned in our policies. Over the years, we have taken tough steps to reduce our platform misuse. We are investigating the complaint and it will also reflect our policy. "Source: The Guardian
